10th International temperature Symposium, ITS10

3 – 7 April 2023, Anaheim, USA

08:30 – 18:00 PST

The 10th International Temperature Symposium is expected to attract hundreds of researchers from around the world, across all disciplines where temperature-related research or technology development is a foremost concern.

The Technical Program will feature five plenary sessions, seven parallel oral sessions arranged in four tracks, and three poster sessions co-located in the exhibit hall.

In addition, the ITS10 will include a series of three new Workshop Sessions specifically designed to introduce temperature measurement methods and technology to the new practitioner. These will be the ITS10/MSC Workshop Sessions on Temperature and Humidity Measurement, organised as joint sessions with the host organisation, the Measurement Science Conference. These workshops will be led by NIST research staff and run in parallel with other ITS10 oral sessions.

A wide variety of session topics will be included, covering all aspects of temperature metrology, measurement and control technology, and scientific and industrial applications. Invited speakers will be drawn from notable institutes around the world and featured in the plenary sessions, as well as in some special parallel sessions. Authors who wish to present their research at ITS10 are encouraged to register their abstract by February 3, 2023.

The ITS10 will open on Tuesday Morning, April 4 with the first James F Schooley Plenary Lecture presented by NPL Senior Fellow, Professor Graham Machin FREng.

The parallel sessions will be:

- Temperature Metrology, Scales, and Fixed Points

- Radiation Thermometry and Remote Sensing of Temperature

- Industrial Sensors and Applications

- Special Scientific Applications and New Technologies, including climate research, biological temperature measurements, and novel sensor technologies.

All sessions will be live, in-person, face-to-face events at the Disneyland Hotel and Conference Center in Anaheim CA. Remote participation will not be available.
