EMRP project: 'Metrology for High-Voltage Direct Current' (ENG07 HVDC) aims to develop a new measurement framework, calibration capabilities and equipment, such as prototype DC energy meters, that will assist in the widespread implementation of High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) transmission, necessary to ensure the efficient transport of electricity over large distances - from where it is produced to where it is needed.
ENG07 JRP-Partners will be presenting the results of the JRP at the 18th International Symposium on High Voltage Engineering 2013 (ISH2013). The ISH2013 will provide opportunities for a broad range of constituencies, government officials, pioneering engineers, scientists, academics, researchers and many other professionals working in the pertinent fields to discuss the challenges of the day and to provide a platform for all to share cutting-edge technology and up-to-date knowledge and experience in High Voltage Engineering.
