EMRP project: 'Biologically weighted quantities in radiotherapy' (SIB06 BioQuaRT) will develop measurements to determine how the charged particles from radiotherapy interact as they pass through human tissue and compare the physical properties of the radiation with its impact on cancer cells to help improve cancer treatments.
SIB06 JRP-Partners will present the results of the JRP at Nano-IBCT: Nanoscale Insights into Ion Beam Cancer Therapy. The conference will bring together experts from different disciplines (physics, chemistry, biology, hadron-therapy centers, medical institutions), specialised in the radiation damage of biological matter.
