EMRP project: ‘Metrology for New Generation Nuclear Power plants’ (ENG08 Metrofission), aims to address the measurement challenges posed by new ‘Generation IV’ nuclear reactor designs by testing temperature measurements and materials for suitability and ensuring sufficient nuclear data and radiation measurement techniques are available. The project will benefit the European nuclear energy industry and covers exciting new metrology and the key needs of the industry.
ENG08 JRP-Partners will be presenting the results of the JRP at Advancements in Nuclear Instrumental Measurement Methods and their Applications (ANIMMA 2013). ANIMMA 2013 is the third in a series of conferences devoted to endorsing and promoting scientific and technical activities based on nuclear instrumentation and measurements. The main objective of ANIMMA is to unite the various scientific communities not only involved in nuclear instrumentation and measurements, but also in nuclear medicine and radiation. The conference focuses on getting scientists, engineers and the industry to meet, exchange cultures and identify new scientific and technical prospects to help overcome both current and future unresolved issues.
