On 11 October 2021 the new European Metrology Network for Advanced Manufacturing will be holding an open online event with stakeholders.
On the 7th of June 2021 EURAMET’s General Assembly approved one of the latest EMNs – the European Metrology Network for Advanced Manufacturing. On 11 October 2021 an open web-meeting will be held as part of the 1st General Meeting for this new network.
Speakers will include representatives from industry and academia who will address topics such as assuring quality in the Industry 4.0 environment and developments in additive and hybrid manufacturing. The new EMN’s partner organisations will also be presenting and providing insights on the challenges and future trends in different key industrial sectors. Further EURAMET European Metrology Networks and Technical Committees will also contribute to the discussion.
The metrology needs for advanced manufacturing will be a key focus for discussions.
The virtual meeting represents an unique opportunity to influence the research strategy of European metrology institutes.

EURAMET’s European Metrology Networks (EMNs) allow the formation of common metrology strategies to address European and global measurement needs in a coordinated manner, including aspects such as research, infrastructure, knowledge transfer and services.
