The Congress is organised by the Hong Kong Institute of Acoustics and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, in conjunction with NVH Branch, Society of Automotive Engineering China and the Acoustical Society of China. The conference will provide the best opportunity for engineers and scientists in all fields of acoustics to learn about and share their work with colleagues from around the world. The conferences deals with many current topics of acoustics and noise: as acoustic measurement, acoustic materials, measurement, assessment and suppression of noise from various sources as aircraft, traffic, or wind parks or psychoacoustics.
Results from EMPIR project (15HLT03 Ears II) Metrology for modern hearing assessment and protecting public health from emerging noise sources will be presented at the conference. This project will further develop and validate an innovative universal ear simulator concept in readiness for clinical practice.
