EMRP project Metrology to assess the durability and function of engineered surfaces (IND11 MADES) will develop macroscale to nanoscale measurements, for assessing engineered surfaces. This should increase component lifetime, reduce equipment downtime and improve industrial efficiency and sustainability.
IND11 JRP-Partners presented the results of the JRP at the 13th euspen conference. The conference and exhibition provided a leading forum for industrialists and academics alike to review the best of world-wide industrial innovation, progressive research and technology developments. Delegates gained an insight of the precision engineering and nanotechnology priorities of Europe’s leading industrial nation.
