FLOMEKO 13 will be an opportunity for the exchange of ideas between different areas of metrology, such as energy and healthcare, aeronautics and chemicals. The FLOMEKO 13 conference is being organised on behalf of IMEKO TC, which is an international group of 39 organisations with the fundamental objectives of 'the promotion of international interchange of scientific and technical information in the field of measurement and instrumentation and the enhancement of international co-operation among scientists and engineers from research and industry'. The following EMRP projects will be presented at the conference:
- Metrology for drug delivery (HLT07 MeDD) will develop measurement services for low flow rates, where current measurements fall short, and assess the performance of commercial flow meters and drug delivery devices.
- Metrology for Liquefied Natural Gas (ENG03 LNG) aims to strengthen the measurement framework for LNG with an expected halving of measurement uncertainties, and will also disseminate knowledge through training, workshops and contribution to international standards and guidelines.
