ISEC 2017 will host sessions on innovative, cutting-edge topics including hybrids with unconventional pairing as well as quantum topological properties toward novel electronic solutions, interface states in topological superconductors, and insulators interfaced to superconductors.
Results from EMPIR project (15SIB04 QuADC) Waveform metrology based on spectrally pure Josephson voltages will be presented at the conference. This project will develop reliable and easy to use AC voltage measurement systems that can be traced to the standard SI volt. These measurement systems will allow a range of industrial end-users to develop previously unachievable processes and products that rely on fast analogue-to-digital conversion, such as power quality monitors, which provide support to the smart grids of the future.
