EMRP project Metrology for pressure, temperature, humidity and airspeed in the atmosphere (ENV07 MeteoMet) was presented at the 2012 Measurement Science Conference (MSC), in Anaheim, California, USA from 19-23 March. The goal of the Measurement Science Conference is to provide a professional training forum and venue to advance education, renew and expand professional contacts and partnerships, and provide emerging ideas, insights and innovations in the measurement science profession.
The aim of project ENV07 is to improve climate models by improving these measurements. This will support metrological and meteorological research and will enable a better interpretation of climate data as measurements of pressure, temperature, humidity and airspeed are key to understanding the climate of the Earth.
