The fourth edition of Milestones in Metrology, in May 2012 in Venice covered 4 topics/programmes: Traffic, Energy, Weighing and Oil & Gas industries. The events attracts 150 professionals from around the world and includes manufacturers, regulators, end users and metrological institutes.
The EMRP project Metrology for Liquefied Natural Gas (ENG03) presented work on a 'Small Scale LNG measurement standard' during the Oil & Gas programme. The ENG03 project aims to strengthen the measurement framework for LNG with an expected halving of measurement uncertainties, and will also disseminate knowledge through training, workshops and contribution to international standards and guidelines.
