High-speed communications have developed rapidly, but as more systems go online, we need to increase the frequencies available for use. These higher frequencies need to be accurately measured, so that additional bandwidth is used efficiently. EMRP project Metrology for ultrafast electronics and high-speed communications (IND16 Ultrafast) will develop these measurements.
IND16 JRP-Partners presented the results of the JRP at SPIE Photonics West 2013; SPIE is the international society for optics and photonics. Photonics West is the premier photonics and laser event, with more than 1,234 companies in 2013 and continues to be the flagship event to find the latest products, tools, and applications for research or business needs.
