A workshop related to measurement of Feed Water Flow, Temperature and Thermal Power in nuclear power plants. After earlier successful events in London, Tokyo and Washington DC, this year the event will take place October 10-12, at the EDF R&D site in Chatou, just outside central Paris.
This year the event is related to the ongoing EMRP project Metrology for Improved Power Plant Efficiency (ENG06) and the workshop will include presentations and findings from this project.
The focus of the event is measurement technology for temperature and flow, but there will also be discussions on statistical methods, calibration techniques and new standards. At the workshop, technical experts from all over the world will come together and discuss the technology, trends in regulatory issues and research projects. The participants represent power plants, manufacturers of instruments, calibration laboratories and national measurement bodies.
