Short description
LNE will host a workshop in Paris from the 21st to the 22nd of January 2020. The workshop is to present concrete examples to show how the evaluation principles of measurement uncertainty can support and add value to normative and related practices. Measurement uncertainty evaluation methods such as the Monte Carlo method, Bayesian methods and variance propagation will be illustrated on a wide range of applications. Advantages and limitations of each method will be discussed.
The workshop intends to cover numerous disciplines such as energy, environment and healthcare. Presentations may be of interest to standards committees, accreditation bodies, regulators, calibration and testing laboratories and measurement practitioners.
