7 June 2021, 13:00 to 17:00 CEST, at euspen’s 21st International Conference and Exhibition
The workshop ‘Metrology for Advanced Manufacturing’ will foster the discussion on the proposed European Metrology Network (EMN) for Advanced Manufacturing.
It is part of euspen's 21st International Conference and Exhibition and hosted by EMPIR project ‘Support for a European Metrology Network on advanced manufacturing’ (19NET01, AdvManuNet).
EURAMET’s EMNs intend to become self-sustainable networking structures for an ongoing stakeholder dialogue in different strategically important topics.
Metrology for Advanced Manufacturing is one of those topics. The workshop will run as a training and dissemination event, informing the participants of the stakeholder engagement activities, proposed connections with established networks, and the preliminary metrology needs of stakeholders to shape the future Strategic Research Agenda (SRA) for this domain.
The event will allow for further discussions on the SRA; thus offering a forum to provide input regarding metrology developments as needed for Advanced Manufacturing. The SRA will aim to guide future activities within European national metrology institutes on Advanced Manufacturing.
