Capacity Building Coordination project celebrates successful first year
The Capacity Building Coordination (CaBuCo) project aims to support EURAMET members and associates in their endeavour to build a strong, balanced and integrated metrology system.
CaBuCo supports and coordinates key capacity building tools – Researcher Mobility Support, Mentoring Scheme Awards, and Training Events – helping tackle important metrological challenges, foster knowledge transfer and build capacities across Europe.
An overview of the tools can be found in the project flyer >>
Since its launch in October 2024, CaBuCo has already supported 27 proposals across all instruments.
The CaBuCo calls remain open throughout the project, with proposal evaluations every four months by the stakeholder committee.
Peter Kiska, project coordinator from CMI (Czechia) comments:
“We are proud to see the project already gaining momentum and attracting strong interest from the community. The upcoming deadlines in 2026 for submitting applications are 31 January, 31 May and 30 September.”
To support applicants and ensure a smooth submission process, the project will organise a Project Information Session on 12 January 2026.
EURAMET National Metrology Institutes and Designated Institutes are invited to get involved.
