Comparison on tubes loaded with BTEX

LNE proposes to load tubes with benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, o-xylene and m-xylene between 500 and 700 ng and with 2 different sorbents (tenax TA and carbopack X). 5 loaded tubes of each sorbent and 2 blanks will be sent to the participants for analysis by thermal desorption and gas chromatography.

VSL proposes to load thermal desorption tubes, containing tenax TA as sorbent material, with benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, m-xylene and o-xylene between 50 and 500 ng. 5 loaded tubes and 2 blanks will be sent to the participants for analysis.

The loaded masses, obtained from preparation and traceable to mass and volume, will be used as reference values for the comparison.
