Humidity training course

Project Description

According to action point 1.4 of the WG on joint training, agreed on 3rd meeting of the INTMET Focus Group on Facilitating national metrology infrastructure development in Budva, 2010, humidity course is organised by MIRS/UL-FE/LMK (SI) in cooperation with PTB  (DE). The course will cover basic humidity training on traceable secondary calibrations of relaitve humidity sensors at the NMI level.

Course will be held in Ljubljana, Slovenia, from September 28th to 30th.

Final Report 2011-10-03

 The course covered traceable secondary calibrations of relaitve humidity sensors at the NMI level. On the first day, presentations were held on theoretical and practical aspects of hygrometry and  humidity calibrations. On the second day, the on-site hands-on training was organised with the closing presentation on the uncertainty estimation for RH calibration. Last day was dedicated to participant's questions, issues related to humidity measurements in connection to thermometry, and for visiting of primary and secondary temperature laboratory in LMK.
