Assessment of Traceability and CMC evaluation in Humidity
Project Description
The participants discussed and set up in September 2003 a first proposal for a "Review Protocol for Humidity CMCs". This proposal was then presented to the EUROMET THERM TC CMC review group in October 2003. Following the suggestion from this group, the proposal of the "Review Protocol for Humidity CMCs" was then presented to the Inter-RMO CMC review group (CCT-WG8) in December 2003. In the following, Draft 1 of this review document was set up and presented to the EUROMET HUMIDITY Expert Group Meeting held in Ljubljana on March 29th, 2004.The objective of the project is to sustain, specifically within the field of humidity, the RMO CMC review through the following tasks:
- Collecting information on knowledge of NMIs' work and activities
- Collecting information on the measurement and calibration facilities of the NMIs
- Assessment of measurement uncertainties
- Establishing CMC evaluation criteria and assess them within EUROMET
Subsequent upon changes in the staff of the thermometry and humidity laboratory, NMI (NL) has withdrawn its participation in the project.
Final Report 2007-03-19
The Draft 4 version of the Review Protocol for Humidity CMCs in dew-point measurements was accepted by CCT WG8 ending 2005 .
Thus, it is the definitive version of the Review Protocol for dew-point CMCs. No further activity during 2006 in this project.
Progress report 2005-03-31
Draft 1 of the "Review Protocol for Humidity CMC’s (on dew points)" was presented at the EUROMET HUMIDITY Expert Group meeting in Ljubljana, March 29th, 2004. After discussion, it was agreed to revise and complete the document.
Throughout spring and early summer, 2004, Drafts 2 to 4 were presented to and discussed among the partners of the project.
Draft 4 was then presented to the Inter-RMO CMC review group (CCT-WG8) for discussion and approval. This process was still ongoing at the end of 2004.
