Bilateral supplementary comparison in gas media (absolute mode) in the range from 10 kPa to 200 kPa
Project Description
This is a bilateral comparison between national standards for pressure of MIRS/IMT/LMT (Slovenia) and MBM (Montenegro) aiming at determining degree of equivalence between the two institutes and to support MBMs application for CMCs in the BIPM KCDB.
The third party laboratory for collecting the results will be PTB (Wladimir Sabuga).
Progress Report 2024-10-09
This comparison is running in parallel with EURAMET Project 1550, "Bilateral supplementary comparison in gas media (gauge mode) in the range from 0.1 MPa to 3.5 MPa". As a transfer standard a digital pressure gauge DHI RPM 3 with two pressure sensors (0 to 200 kPa absolute and 0 to 20 MPa gauge) was selected. The measurements were first performed already in March 2022 at IMT and at BMM in April 2022. However, during return transportation from MBM a damage of the transfer standard happened and the check of transport stability of the transfer standard at the pilot lab was not possible.
We decided to repeat the complete set of measurements after repair of the instrument and unfortunately this did not happen until 2024.
Repeated mesurements were done at IMT in August 2024, and at BMM in September 2024. In addition, the IMT national standard (pressure balance DHI PG7601) was sent In September 2024 for recalibration to CMI, and will be back to IMT by 15 October, 2024. Then the transfer standard can be checked again at IMT for transport stability and with this the measurements will be completed.
Results of pilot lab (MIRS/IMT/LMT) and participating lab (BMM, Montenegro) to be sent to the third-party lab (PTB, dr. Wladimir Sabuga) by the end of October 2024.
The final report is expected to be completed by the end of 2024.
