Comparison for Ultra-low DC Current Sources

Project Description

Supplementary comparison on this subject, EUROMET.EM-S24, was carried out from 2005 to 2009. The objective of the proposed comparison is to provide technical evidence supporting their CMCs entries of those participants who did not participate in the EURAMET.EM-S24, while other participants would have an evidence for confirmation of their improvements in this field of measurement. The comparison will be performed at the points of ± 9.5 fA, ± 95 fA, ± 0.95 pA, ± 9.5 pA, ± 95 pA. A commercial picoamperemeter, which is a Keithley 6430, will be used as travelling standard.

Final Report 2023-01-02

The comparison has been completed and results are available in the KCDB.

Progress Report 2022-09-12

The measurement loop has been completed already last year. Draft A had to be rewritten due to the exclusion of VNIFTRII. The Draft B report has been approved by the EURAMET TC-EM and is currently under final editorial review by the CCEM WGLF. The statements for the executive summary have been collected. The comparison will therefore be finished soon.

Progress Report 2021-05-21

All of the participants performed measurements.
The measurements of the last participants were completed. All results were sent to the pilot laboratory. Revisions of some reports are being carried out. 

Progress Report 2020-10-15

All the participants performed measurements. The last measurements after the the last participants was completed. Results from participants have not been all sent to pilot yet.
As soon as the measurement reports from the participants are completed the Draft A progress will begin.

Progress Report 2019-09-30

All the participants performed measurements, except a new participant VNIIFTRI, Russia. The travelling standard has been sent to Russia as of the date of 27.09.2019. After VNIIFTRI measurements, the travelling standard will be measured in TÜBİTAK UME for the last time.
