integrated metrology community.

Comparison of a 100 ohms resistance standard

Project Description

The objectives of the bilateral comparison between LNE and BoM is to facilitate the demonstration of metrological equivalence between the two participating National Metrology Institutes. The comparison is linked to the CCEM comparison CCEM-K10. It will be used to validate the related CMCs of BoM. The pilot laboratory is LNE.

The project is funded of the frame of an EU project.

Final Report 2014-09-22

The project has been completed and the report can be downloaded here>>

The programm was approved in May 2014. The measurements were carried out at the uncertainty level which is as close as possible to the best measurement capabilities of the two laboratories in June. The value of the resistance changed between the first measurement and the final measurement at LNE but there's no impact on the final results taken into account the large value of the uncertainty of BoM.The comparison, linked to the CCEM-K10 comparison, is conclusive to verify  the competence of BoM to measure accurately DC resistance within their accredited uncertainties. The final report was approved in September 2014.
