Comparison of absolute gravimeters

Project Description

From November 8-11, 2011 absolute gravimeters from 13 NMIs and 14 institutes will be compared in Underground Laboratory for Geodynamics in Walferdange. The main goal of this project is to compare the metrological performances of the involved instruments. The acquired data will be processed in different ways and summarized in a final report that will also be published in the BIPM KCDB.

The project will be piloted by the University of Luxembourg and the Federal Office of Metrology METAS.

Final Report 2016-07-01

The comparison has been completed and the results are published in the KCDB.
