Comparison of the calibration of noble metal thermocouples up to 1100 ºC

Project Description

The objective of this comparison is to establish the degree of equivalence of the calibration of thermocouples in fixed points and/or by comparison from 419,527 ºC (freezing point of zinc) up to 1084,62 ºC (Cu fixed point).

The comparison has been completed and results are published in the KCDB.

Progress Report 2018-03-12

Draft A sent to participants, deadline for comments 15th March 2018. It is expected to sent the final report to the CCT approiate WG by the end of March 2018

Progress Report 2017-04-10

The measurements are about to be completed, it only remains that CEM performs all the final measurements. There has been some delay due to customs problems and because of previous CEM commitments the final measurements could not be scheduled before the end of April 2017.
