Developing primary dew-point standards - dew-point generators
Project Description
In this project, two primary dew-point generators are designed and constructed in co-operation between GUM (Poland) and CMI (Czech Republic). The generators cover the dew-point temperature range from -80 °C to 95 °C and they will be thoroughly investigated. The uncertainty analysis will be validated with a bilateral comparison with GUM dew-point temperature standards.
Two specialists from CMI and two specialists from GUM have had meeting in Humidity Laboratory in GUM - Poland.
Final Report 2015-02-19
The metrological performances were thoroughly investigated and discussed during meetings at CMI and GUM. The dew-point generator works properly but it is deemed to do some improvement. The improvements were done. Main cheks were carried out in CMI and GUM. Final result of dew-point generator was presented by CMI at the TEMPMEKO 2013 in Madeira (Portugal).
Progress Report 2012-04-10
1. One specialist from GUM and specialists from CMI had meeting in Humidity Laboratory in CMI Brno - Czech Republic.
2. Specialist from GUM has made lern with construction and details of primary humidity generator made in CMI. It is planned the generators will cover the dew-point temperature range from -80 °C to 20 °C and is developed as the primary humidity references at CMI.
3. The metrological performances are thoroughly investigated and were discussed during meeting at CMI. The uncertainty analysis will be validated with a bilateral comparison with GUM dew-point temperature standards.
4. The project 1160 needs extension for the next year.
5. Further collaboration will be carried out in form of bilateral consultation, experience exchange and investigation of metrological properties of generators being developed.

Specialists from CMI hade made lern with principle, construction and details of Polish primary humidity standards - two dew-point generators DPG1 and DPG2. The generators cover the dew-point temperature range from -80 °C to 95 °C and they will be developed as the primary humidity referenes at CMI. The metrological performance will be thoroughly investigated. The uncertainty analysis will validated with a bilateral comparison with GUM dew-point temperature standards.
