Dynamic pressure measurement in liquid and gas

Not many national European laboratories are active in dynamic pressure measurements but experience has been gained at ENSAM (FR) and NPL (GB). The sector has a large number of important applications (motors, balistics, energy, medicine ...) which require specific apparatus and techniques.

We agreed to start a collaboration in order to:

a) identify the industrial needs in Europe and to suggest the more appropriate European laboratory to the industries;

b) avoid duplication of the same area of interest, but to have common areas at the extremes of the fields of measurement to allow intercomparisons;

c) have exchange of people among laboratories to gain experiences and know how;

d) have periodic meeting to analise and update collaboration.
