Intercomparison of Argon triple point cells
Project Description
The main objective of this project is to compare the realisations of the argon triple point in cells associated with long stem thermometers and to establish the agreement between the results from the different participating laboratories. The BNM-INM proposes to circulate one argon triple point cell, together with the cryostat. The comparison measurement will consist of one set of triple point determinations on the circulating device and one set of measurements on the local one. The calibration facilities will be circulated with the fully described procedure to realize the fixed point.
This project will enable to set the temperature differences between the different devices and the associated uncertainty on that difference.
