Intercomparison of gas counting of Krypton-85 and tritium

Project Description

Krypton-85 gas from a small cylinder will be measured in turn at NPL, LMRI and PTB. Provided sufficient gas is left then a repeat measurement will be made when the cylinder returns to NPL. The results from the three laboratories will be intercompared and provided adequate agreement is achieved, then a similar exercise will take place using a cylinder containing tritium gas.
