Peer review of QMS of LNE-Cnam
Project Description
In this project, the QMS of LNE-Cnam will be peer reviewed. A peer review programme with visits by metrological experts is planned in June 2012 in the fields of temperature, length and radiometry-photometry. This project of QMS peer reviews will support the development and improvement of QMS processes, and provides a tool for a better international recognition and fulfillment of the requirements of CIPM MRA.
Radiometry and photometry quantities will be visited and reviewed by Dr Oliver Pellegrino from IPQ (Portugal). The temperature quantities will be visited and reviewed by Dr Ma Dolores del Campo Maldonado from CEM (Spain). The length quantities will be visited and reviewed by Dr Massimo Zucco from INRIM (Italy). The main quality documents of the LNE-Cnam will be reviewed by Philippe Penin, Quality Auditor, Norma System (France). The laboratory pays only mission costs for metrological experts and a global service for the quality auditor.

The Quality Management System (QMS) of the LNE-Cnam was peer reviewed by metrological experts on 27-28 June 2012 in the fields of temperature, length and radiometry-photometry.
The metrological experts were Dr Olivier Pellegrino from Instituto Português da Qualidade (IPQ Portugal) for radiometry and photometry quantities, Dr Dolores del Campo from Centro Español de Metrología (CEM Spain)for temperature quantities and Dr Massimo Zucco from Istituto Nazionale di Ricerca Metrologica (INRIM Italy) for length quantities.
The quality auditor was Philippe Penin, Norma System (France).
The purpose of the peer review was to verify that the radiometry-photometry, temperature and length services included in the CMC tables of the laboratory comply with the requirements of its documented QMS and the standard ISO/IEC 17025:2005.
The peer review findings were documented in a report issued on 12 July 2012. The corrective actions and actions initiated from recommendations were performed during the autumn 2012 and they were verified by the internal audits between 15 November and 15 December 2012.
