Revision of EURAMET Calibration Guide No. 21 - Guidelines on the Calibration of Standard Capacity Measures Using the Volumetric Method

Project Description

The goal of this project is to revise the Calibration Guideline No. 21 'Guidelines on the Calibration of Standard Capacity Measures Using the Volumetric Method', version 2.1 (09/2021), and include some missing topics (such as some uncertainty components and the calibration methods for the reading scale) to make it more usable for users.

Final Report 2023-09-27

The revised version of Calibration Guide No. 21 'Guidelines on the Calibration of Standard Capacity Measures Using the Volumetric Method' (Version 3.0) is ready to be published on the EURAMET website.

The changes to the previous version include: new equations were added for the scale calibration and uncertainty evaluation;  more detailed description of the calibration procedure; the example has been completed with additional information.

The EURAMET Guide No.21 was revised for some sections providing more details, in particular new equations were added for the scale calibration and uncertainty evaluation.The example has been completed with additional information. The new version has been distributed to the members of the SC Volume for comments and will be discussed at the next TC-Flow meeting.
