The interlaboratory comparison of radionuclide calibrators

Project Description

The secondary standards equipments for radionuclide measurement used in Lithuania will be compared with the similar equipments used in the Czech Republic. The radionuclides Tx-99m, I-131, I-125, I-123, TI-201, Cs-137 and some other often used in a nuclear medicine will be used in the comparison (Cs-137 as check source). This proposed programme is based on the ISO 17025 and will enable to provide consistent, safe and effective radioactivity measurement services to the medicine community. The measurement will be made in Czech Republic.

Final Report 2016-11-30

The comparison results show the ability of the FTMC (LT) to measure radionuclides which are used in a nuclear medicine with uncertainty less than 5%. The results enable to provide consistent, safe and effective radioactivity measurement services to the medicine community.
