Traceability in humidity (dew-point temperature)
Project Description
Extensive characterisation of the two hygrometers has been undertaken over their expected ranges. In the case of NML, it was decided that investment in a new hygrometer with a wider range and improved reproducibility would be sought. This was successfully achieved and the new hygrometer is currently being evaluated. In the case of IPQ, the initial investigation of the hygrometer has been completed and its adequacy for the intended range is currently being evaluated.Training actvities have not yet been initiated. The trilateral comparison will be initiated once the previous stages have been completed.
Final Report 2016-02-22
INTA has continued to provide traceability to IPQ via the characterisation of the transfer standard in the range from -30 ºC to +70 ºC. Assistance has been provided in optimisation of measurement procedures, contributions to CMC, maintenance of humidity generator.
Progress Report 2015-02-21
INTA has continued to provide traceability to IPQ via the characterisation of the transfer standard in the range from -30 ºC to +70 ºC. In 2014 no measurements were performed on instruments from NSAI.Assistance has been provided in optimisation of measurement procedures, contributions to CMC and troubleshooting.
