Workshop on artefacts use for the calibration and performance of coordinate measuring machines

Project Description

CMM'S are widely used for quality control in the manufacturing industry. Several National Institutes for Metrology have developped specific artefacts for calibration or performance assessment of coordinate measuring machine, some of them are commercially available.

The aim of the workshop is to increase co-operation between the EUROMET members by:

- an exchange of information about the use of artefacts, the advantages and the disadvantages of different solutions, the information obtained from test artefacts, etc.

The workshop is planned to take place on June 3rd beginning art 14.00 at LNE and finishing on the 4th at 12.30h. As a first step, the workshop will be limited to representatives of State laboratories.
