• Traceability for ultrasonic processes and medical care: measurement of ultrasound power and ultrasound and underwater hydrophone calibrations
• Provision and development of metrological underpinning for diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound methods
• Measurement at simulated ocean conditions
• Collaboration in a variety of national and international bodies for maintenance and development of standards for ultrasound and underwater applications
